Un mensaje en el grupo de Whatsapp, me reservo el nombre porque es sumamente peculiar, abrió la invitación a un nuevo encuentro gastronómico, esta vez el plato principal sería Linguini ai gambieri en estas experiencias foodie, generalmente somos 5 a 7 personas, todos contribuimos para los ingredientes del platillo estrella junto con el vino tinto. El chef encargado es el esposo de una prima, le digo así por cariño y por todo el amor que le pone a la comida que hace, sin tener formación académica en el área gourmet, siempre se esmera por mostrarnos lo mejor de su cocina, esas comidas que ha ido perfeccionando y de las cuales soy una catadora en primera fila.
En esta ocasión la cita fue en la casa de una amante de los gatitos, por eso el nombre de esta publicación. Ella tiene dos gatos preciosos y en su hogar hay mucha simbología que da fe de su gusto por ellos.

Ese día fungí de souschef colaborando en el corte de los vegetales, removiendo de vez en cuando la salsa, rallando el queso madurado, para los amantes del queso no hay límites y sí me disculpan, pero lo como con mariscos (mea culpa), mientras bebía un Limocello Spritz, cortesía de la anfitriona. Allí me pueden ver mientras cortaba la cebolla, que como dato curioso ese día no me hizo llorar la cebolla, pero sí el cebollín ¿Les ha pasado?
Este tipo de reuniones son tan agradables y cada vez vamos uniendo los lazos, comenzamos a reunirnos en un viaje en velero, allí también hubo delicias de la mano del chef, y aunque ese día sufrí de mareos, cuando me recompuse pude disfrutar de camarones picantes y de un pulpo muy tierno con vegetales.

This kind of meeting is so nice and each time we bond, we start to meet on a sailing trip, there were also delicacies from the hand of the chef, and although that day I suffered from seasickness when I recomposed myself I could enjoy spicy shrimp and a very tender octopus with vegetables.
El aroma que desprendían los camarones fue un completo deleite y colaborar en su preparación fue todo un placer, mientras los fogones seguían haciendo su trabajo, el vino tinto enamoraba a un par de compañeros, yo tuve suficiente con el Limoncello Spritz como les comenté en un post anterior. La experiencia de cocinar entre amigos, mientras se toma un buen trago es inolvidable, además el hermoso par de gatos hicieron lo suyo jugueteando y entrando en la bolsa vacía dónde habían estado los ingredientes para luego salir corriendo dentro de la bolsa ¡Gatito asustado y travieso!
The aroma given off by the shrimps was a complete delight and collaborating in their preparation was a pleasure, while the stoves continued doing their job, the red wine made a couple of friends fall in love, I had enough with the Limoncello Spritz as I mentioned in a previous post. The experience of cooking among friends, while having a good drink is unforgettable, plus the beautiful pair of cats did their thing playing and entering the empty bag where the ingredients had been and then running away inside the bag, scared and naughty kitty!
