Breakfast Smoothie Oatmeal

This is my favorite breakfast that is done in just a few minutes. I usually use different ingredients inside but most important ingredients are rolled oats, plant based milk, fruits, vegetables herbs and seeds or nuts.

Ingredients for oatmeal:

  • 100 g of rolled oats
  • 50 g of coconut shreds
  • 400 ml of rice milk
  • ¼ teaspoon of sea salt

Ingredients for the smoothie:

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 1 apple

  • 1 small beetroot

  • 2 tablespoons of raisins

  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseeds

  • 1 tablespoon of thyme

  • 3 dl of water

  • calendula flower for decoration

Preparation:

  1. Place the rice milk in a small pot or a saucepan and bring it to the boil.
  2. Add sea salt, rolled oats and coconut shreds. Simmer at very low heat for 5 minutes. Cover with the lid and let it sit for 10 minutes.IMG_20220326_105745.jpg
  3. Place peel and cut bananas, apple and beetroot into smaller pieces. Place in a blender and add raisins, thyme, flaxseeds and water.
    Blend it for about 2 minutes.

  4. Mix the oatmeal with the smoothie.

    Decorate it with calendula flower.
