Wild Birds Feeding

Birds Positive Energy

Have you sat quietly listening to short, strong beaks cracking seed, each morsel placed firmly, moved with darting tongue then zap tossed back enjoy the kernel?

Native grass or hand-me-outs birds will visit for forty years a backyard birder offering mixed premium seed for wild birds brings them in some on morning song, other midday with the odd late afternoon visitor grabbing a bite to eat before nightfall.

Pecking order is evident with inbound or outbound flight with seed eaters.

Sweetness attracts swift in flight dancing in thin air like ballerinas, flitting between blooms tasting nectar, streamlined silent beauty on wing flowing engaged only sipping off flowers.

An enchanted onlooker finds pure joy witnessing buoyant frame on sweet nectar of life. Sip nectar at a speed hard to comprehend, fly away in sun revealing stunning colour in wings, back to the tree now to sing call all in to enjoy a sip with you!

Now we hit the savoury taste where heads shovel beaks into the ground or bark of trees, oh boy a worm or two will do too.

Striding across the lawns as if mine sweepers going through fields searching for the right one wriggling beneath.

Some go to greater lengths sticking necks into water, prodding water through long toes to find the wriggling delight!

Birds feeding from dawn to dusk is a must, night shift arrives to take over, not having eyes like owls we tend to forget, when we go to bed someone is always busy looking for the next bite to eat.
