Other than the journey, one of the most important ingredient of a successful family trip, is dinning place. We did some research and finding many "interesting" places, but their last update was in 2015. That's more than 10 years ago.
除了路途本身，一个成功的家庭旅行，最重要的一环绝对是找吃的地方。我们之前做了一些功课，上网找到很多看起来“很有趣”的店，结果仔细一看，最后的更新居然是在2015年。哇，那都是十多年前的事了咧。
We weren't exactly sure which of these shops are still available today, therefore when we're on our way taking the off-road journey to the village, the pilot(spposed to call him a driver, but he pilot the Hilux ever so smoothly flying up and down the hill caused me think if he's graduated from aviation instead) introduced this shop to us. It's very near(like next door) to our resort.
我们其实心里也没底，不知道这些店现在还开着没有。结果，就在我们坐车走着越野山路进村的时候，那位“飞行员”（本来应该叫他司机的啦，但他把那辆 Hilux 开得像在飞一样，上下山坡稳到不行，搞到我怀疑他是不是航空航天系毕业的 🤣）向我们推荐了这家店。它非常近，简直就在我们度假村的隔壁而已。
Island food station mark one of our favorite restaurant throughout the entire trip. I'm not gonna lie, probably one of the best seaside restaurant I had in my life. Restaurant is currently owned by a local Malay family. It's kinda laid back style, they don't expect you to rush, so you shouldn't 🤣 why would you rush for food during holiday?
这家 Island Food Station 成功晋升为我们整趟旅程中最爱的餐厅之一。讲真，这可能是我这辈子去过最赞的海边餐厅之一了。餐厅现在是由当地的马来同胞一家人经营的。这里的风格蛮悠闲（laid-back）的，他们不急，你也不用赶 🤣 拜托，难得放假出来玩，吃个饭干嘛要冲锋陷阵哦？
Just like anywhere and everywhere around the village. There's only limited amount of people spending time here. The waiter/waitress are probably the kids or the kid's in law servicing the table. They will sit down and quietly wait for you decision. If you can't decide what to look for, they have set menu for 2 person, for 4 person. They also offer sandwiches and burgers to cater for our "local westernized" kids.
就像村子里的其他地方一样，这里的人潮总是刚刚好，不会太挤。负责招待的男女侍应生，大概就是老板的孩子或女婿媳妇之类的。他们会静静地坐在旁边，等你们慢慢看、慢慢决定。如果你真的有选择困难症，他们也有提供2人份或4人份的套餐。另外他们还贴心地准备了三明治和汉堡，来应付我们那些口味比较“洋化”的本地小年轻。
I ordered a coconut smoothie. This thing is wicked. They blend it with fresh coconut flesh, it taste refreshing and the old coconut shave are quiet chewy at the same time. It taste "milky" without the "creamy" part due to the roughness of the drink. I am glad I ordered it on the first day when I arrived(later days I will never have a chance to order it again as everytime I asked, it was sold out and they haven't grind anymore new coconut shave).
我点了一杯椰子沙冰（Coconut Smoothie），这杯东西真的绝了！他们是用新鲜的椰肉下去打的，喝起来超级清爽，而且里面的老椰丝嚼劲十足。虽然口感带有沙冰的粗粝感，但却能喝到那种“奶香”却不腻的味道。幸好我第一天一到就聪明先点了（接下来的几天我完全没机会再喝到，因为每次问都卖光光，他们也来不及再磨新的椰丝了）。
We individually ordered different flavoured averages. From the left is Milo Tabor, extremely thick Nestle malt chocolate drink for, iced tea, and rose syrup milk we call it "sirap bandung", and my coconut smoothies.
我们每个人各自点了不同口味的饮料。从左边数起：第一杯是 Milo Tabur（美禄恐龙），巧克力麦芽味浓郁到不讲理；接着是冰茶、我们本地人叫 “Sirap Bandung” 的粉红玫瑰奶茶，最后就是我的椰子沙冰啦。
The big kid ordered herself a set of fried chicken meal that came with salad. Well, in local Malay, salad are mixed with sambal chilli sauce 🤣 so, it's the kind of refreshing vege that will make you spit fire. It's ok, they didn't mate the sauce with the cabbage, you can always test water first, if you're ok with their sambal. To me, it's quite heavy in onions. Please ignore the omelette egg for now, it was supposed to be part of the set dinner for two me and home minister ordered for us.
大孩子给自己点了一份炸鸡餐，里面有附带沙拉。呃……在我们本地马来同胞的料理里，沙拉可是会给你加参巴辣椒酱的 🤣 也就是说，这是那种会让你吃到喷火的“清爽蔬菜”。不过不用慌，他们没有把酱汁直接淋死在包菜丝上面，你完全可以先“试下水温”，看自己合不合胃口。对我个人来说，他们的参巴酱里洋葱味蛮重的。大孩子给自己点了一份炸鸡餐，里面有附带沙拉。呃……在我们本地马来同胞的料理里，沙拉可是会给你加参巴辣椒酱的 🤣 也就是说，这是那种会让你吃到喷火的“清爽蔬菜”。不过不用慌，他们没有把酱汁直接淋死在包菜丝上面，你完全可以先“试下水温”，看自己合不合胃口。对我个人来说，他们的参巴酱里洋葱味蛮重的。至于照片里那个芙蓉蛋（煎蛋）大家先假装看不到哈，那个其实是我和我家内位“母老虎”点给两个人的双人套餐里的啦。
Son ordered a chicken sandwich that came with fries. This thing goes for RM14, and for a tourist spot in an island, I think this is still very legit and affordable. On the other hand, please also ignore the stir fried vege, which again was part of the dinner deal me and my wife ordered.
儿子点了一份鸡肉三明治，还有附送薯条。这份东西卖 RM14，老实讲，以旅游景点的海岛物价来说，我觉得这个价钱真的很合理、很相宜（Legit）了。另外，也请大家顺便无视旁边那一碟炒青菜哈，那个同样也是我和我家“老虎乸”点的双人套餐里的菜。
Last but not least, we got our bowl of tom yam soup. They put enough sticks of lemon grass, chilli padi, a lots of chicken cubes, squid, prawn, and I totally enjoy it fora face that they didn't make it too spicy.its easy to go down with a dash of citrus taste to it. The dinner set for two is RM40 that served with 2 rice, the omelette egg and te stir-fry vege.
最后压轴登场的，就是我们那碗冬阴功汤（Tom Yam Soup）啦！里面放了够够力的香茅、小辣椒，还有大把的鸡肉丁、苏东（乌贼）和鲜虾。我个人超级享受这碗汤，因为他们没有调到太辣，喝下去顺喉得很，而且还带有一丝丝柠檬柑橘的酸爽。我们点的那份双人套餐一共是 RM40，包含了2碗白饭、刚才提到的芙蓉蛋和那盘炒青菜。
All in all ,we paid a total of RM88 for all this drinks and food. I then later added a bottle of drinking water that cost another 5 Ringgit.
总的来说，这一桌有吃有喝的，我们总共才付了 RM88。之后我又另外加购了一瓶大支的饮用水，花了 5 块钱。
