Hello everyone, welcome back to the "Battle n Giveaway" post. In this post, I will be sharing battles that I think are unique (SHARE YOUR BATTLE) and also hosting giveaways that I have done before (UPVOTE BUDGET GIVEAWAY).

The new season started a few days ago, but until yesterday I was struggling to climb up to GOLD II (I started the season in GOLD III). I tried to find a time when my opponents wouldn't be too difficult, but my efforts were fruitless. Even if I meet an "easy-looking" opponent, I will still lose due to RULESET or sheer luck.

I finally decided to increase the battles (normally I would stop after spending 12 Energy) and managed to advance to GOLD II.

The first part of this post will be about SHARE YOUR BATTLE, be it CARD FOCUS or RULESET FOCUS or just a battle I find interesting enough to share. After that, we'll move on to the GIVEAWAY section. There are changes to the GIVEAWAYS that are different from the usual (you can see them in full after the SHARE YOUR BATTLE section) And giveaways will happen 1~2 times per week

EARTHQUAKE

EARTHQUAKE is an unfavorable RULESET for monsters that have a low HEALTH POINT and do not have FLYING ABILITY. every time they enter the next round, monsters that do not have FLYING will take 2 POINT damage. This damage is the same as the damage caused by Melee or Ranged Monster attacks. So, monsters that have a lot of ARMOR or have SHIELD can still survive in this Ruleset (monsters with high Health points can also still survive as long as they don't get attacks other than EARTHQUAKE).

But don't focus too much on this EARTHQUAKE Ruleset so that you choose the wrong monster. Because you are only concerned with choosing monsters that can survive in this Ruleset, you forget that there is 1 more ATTACK TYPE that can thwart your efforts.

_MAGIC

This ATTACK TYPE can ignore ARMOR and directly attack Health Points. So even if your monsters have SHIELD or lots of ARMOR in the EARTHQUAKE ruleset, everything will fall apart if they are hit by an attack from a Magic monster. To solve this problem, you need abilities like VOID, VOID ARMORVOID ARMOR, MAGIC REFLECT, or PHASE (with a high-SPEED difference and or with the help of BLIND).

Void Dragon is one of the monsters that fit in the EARTHQUAKE ruleset. Besides having FLYING to avoid the effects of that ruleset, it also has VOID and PHASE to reduce and avoid Magic attacks.

Lets Start the Battles

My opponent and I both use Grandmaster Rathe which gives VOID ARMOR to all monsters (as I explained above, the reason is to "prevent" attacks from Magic monsters). However, I have the upper hand in terms of level (both for SUMMONER and monsters).

Besides EARTHQUAKE, the other rulesets in this battle are HEAVY HITTERS and TIS BUT SCRATCHES

The opponent brought many magic monsters in this battle, but 3 of them (Time Meddler, Djinn Renova, and Time Mage*) did not have the FLYING ability.

Because of this, this time I was able to defeat the opponent easily. It's a different story if some of the opponent's monsters have higher levels (Adelade Brightwing who has RESURRECT at level 2, Time Mage who gets RUST at level 5, and Uriel the Purifier who gets HEAL at level 2).

What is the Upvote Budget that you mentioned earlier?

Upvote Budget (or maybe there's a better name) is slightly different (perhaps) GIVEAWAYS from the others. The reason for naming Upvote Budget is because all prizes destined for GIVEAWAYS come from the total Upvotes received in each post (more precisely the Author Reward section)

How these giveaways work

• Every GIVEAWAYS post uses @reward.app (so the reward for posting will be HBD and HIVE)

  • back to 50% HBD 50%HP

• The Total Upvote Value affects the limit of cards that can be selected

• Winners can choose any card they want (As long as there is sufficient DEC)

  • You can see the price of each card in Peakmonster
    
    

• The maximum number of winners for giveaways is 3 people (3 draws) or until the DEC is not sufficient to purchase a card only 1 user.

• The remaining DEC will be added to the GIVEAWAYS the next week next post.

The number of prizes from giveaway posts that will be converted into DEC is 20% (or 40% of the total Author Reward) decreased to 5% (or 10% of the total Author Reward)

How to join this GIVEAWAYS

• Upvotes are not required as a condition to enter this giveaway. However, the more upvotes that each post gets, the more varied the cards that can be selected will be.

• Re-blog is also not a requirement. However, the more users who know about these GIVEAWAYS, the more likely they will upvote and the prizes will increase.

• You just need to write a comment once on each GIVEAWAYS post.

  • Also write down your IGN (In-Game Name) if it is different from the name you use for your HIVE account.

  • Write down a list of the cards you want, starting with the most expensive to the cheapest. If you don't write it down, you will be disqualified.
