Why squatting with weight will help you burn fat

»Not intentionally getting leaner, but 7 days of intermittent fasting and squatting 100 reps last night is putting me in that direction.

»So last night I did something I never thought I would ever do in this lifetime... I squatted 185x10x10. Well it was actually 10x9 because I bottomed out on my last rep which led me to getting pissed. So I reset everything and repped out 5 slow ones. Honestly, one of my proudest moments.

»Yesterday also made one week of intermittent fasting. My feeding window is from 12p-8p, which works perfectly for me. That’s not to say that I don’t get hungry though, but it’s helping me battle my tendencies to boredom/comfort eat. Being a fat kid at heart, this is definitely a challenge for me.

»With all of these high volume workouts and and self-control, I’m purposely working on my mental toughness. I’ve been lacking that for awhile actually. On a brighter note, cheers to today being Wednesday!
