#catrin

The first time I came across the term “catrin” was in a novel titled The Life and Deeds of the Famous Knight Don Catrin de la Fachenda. He was a good-for-nothing, obsessed with dressing well, feigning

Alex wanted to enter a catrín contest, so he came to us and asked Karen to do his makeup. It really turned out great, so I took the opportunity to take some portraits of him. Everything was a bit rushed

On this occasion, these images are from a “catrin” photo shoot, for which Angel, who was my student a few years ago, served as my model. I didn’t teach him anything about photography, since I’m a chemist

The catrin is much less known than the catrina, and to be honest, it’s usually much less colorful than the catrina. In this case, the intention wasn’t exactly to depict a Catrin, but rather a sort of drag

This photo shoot establishes a fusion between the axolotl and La Catrina or Catrin, a character of the Day of the Dead.
