Learn Coding For Free

If you want to start programming then one of the best websites to try is codecademy.com . Try their C# courses to get familiar with the language. Don't pay for their pro courses it's unnecessary. Never pay for coding or tech knowledge on the internet you can get all of it for free.
Once you're a little more comfortable with the syntax try to make something, the only way to learn how to actually code is by coding something. I always recommend a simple console calculator as your first project.
Learn as much as you can about how a computer operates along the way
My view is that a higher level language (or at least a more syntactically simplistic language) is better to get started off learning the fundamentals so you're not getting too overwhelmed when starting off. C++ isn't a bad language to start with at all, but you just have to wrap your head around a few more concepts starting off and you can more easily develop bad habits in my opinion. But starting from anywhere is fine, plenty of people have of course learned C or C++ as a first language.
