I have a mobile app published on the App Store that was working perfectly, but I suddenly ran into an issue—one I thought I had already resolved—regarding what happens when a user tries to log in after their membership has expired.
I had assumed the existing code would handle this correctly and prompt the user to renew their membership; however, the app wasn't reporting any database connection errors. It remained in this state for quite a while before I realized the problem was simply that my code didn't account for that specific scenario.

After resolving the issue and tweaking—or rather, moving—a few things in the code, it started working correctly again; I took the time to fix some visual details and began considering potential issues elsewhere in the application.
I discovered that some images were loading very slowly, while others weren't appearing at all. The failure to display was due to the framework being unable to decode certain image formats, which can cause errors; the solution was to change the image format via the admin panel—a quick, one-minute fix—while another image had a relatively large file size of 35 MB.

While exploring the rest of the app to check for potential errors, I encountered an issue in the chat section: whenever I viewed or checked the status of previous chats, the app would crash and display a red error screen. The error indicated that a variable was not properly defined; upon inspecting the code and the emulator, I found that the expected photo URL was actually an array containing "[object Object]"—data coming from the database rather than a valid image URL. Consequently, I needed to add validation logic to prevent this issue from recurring or, at the very least, ensure it doesn't cause the app to crash in the future.
