Collection part 2 - V8 Fast Lane Cafe, Thailand

In the previous installment a few select highlights including muscle cars, engines, a Stingray and a 007 Aston Martin. Yet there was plenty more dotted around to see, including a wildly varied collection of motorcycles - some humble Asian classics, others pure American beasts. Plus a racing car, and half a Jag! Well more of them to follow as this seemingly small motor museum/showroom/restaurant actually packs in a bunch of stuff. I took almost 100 photos. V8 Fast Lane is located near Maprachan Lake, Pattaya.
Thailand and Thai folks have quite a passion for their cars and classics can often be found on display to the public, or in showrooms or at meetups. I try to cover them whenever I come across them.
The Motorcycles
Yamaha 125
*Interesting patina around the rev counter. Nice and clear clock-like dials otherwise, like the fonts and spacing of a finely honed Swiss watch.
*Yamaha 125 is quite a collector item. A fine looking machine ready to go almost anywhere.
Elongated gas tank gives some additional style along with balancing the bikes center of gravity and tank capacity. Clever details abound. Note the twin front forks and shocks - durable and well engineered for the worst pot-holed roads of SE asia of 30-40 years ago.
Harley-Davidson
Note the Stingray and Triumph featured in the background from part 1 (link in the intro). No expert on these, as NewtonClassics is more the Hardley-Davidson fan. The Yamaha 125 gets us more abuzz than most anything in the room! However, Harley fans are in for a treat coming here.
Honda CBX
The ultimate and rare superbike of another era. You can find much about this 6 cylinder monster by searching online.
First time to see one of these in person. An incredible machine, made from 1978-1982 this bike was a true 'party in the front, business in the rear'. Incredible performance met long-distance and suitcase carrying abilities.
6 cylinder engine is the star of the show on the Honda CBX. Jay Leno also has one in his collection.
On the fuel tank under the filler, there is both a reminder of what you are riding and the advanced for the time technological marvel of the engine underneath. Just in case you forgot.
