Collection meets Cafe
Something which seems to becoming a more and more common site these days, are boutique/showroom style collections which combine a variety of high end (read high ticket price) items, whilst blending them with access to all through a cafe/restaurant facility alongside. This is one such place. The vehicles on display are a mixture of the owners, for sale, and being kept for others.
This will come in a number of parts as there were some very cool vehicles on display. They very likely change from time to time also, given at least 3 of the cars were for sale. We'll have to be back soon for more - and to taste the food. The restaurant portion isn't captured here, it's a spacious area decked out like a traditional 1950's American burger and milkshake joint. Beer is also available. The whole place is decked out in motorcar memorabilia from floor to ceiling. Much of the collection is American, with a few surprises - such as an early Triumph TR3 sports car!
Thanks for enjoying the words and pictures - photos were a struggle here, as the lighting is all kinds of crazy in this place. Great for visiting and viewing the cars, but a challenge to photograph! Another reason to visit again before long. V8 Fast Lane is located near Maprachan Lake, Pattaya.

Interior is retro haven, nice leather, yet a little cramped for some. True American sports car. Good in a straight line ... ahem
More of the wild big block blown engine out on display
Here's what I came up with as a highly stylized shot, capturing some of the ambience and vibe of the place with it. It's like a mini Jay Leno's garage with a restaurant attached. Very cool place to stop for refreshments and a bite to eat should you find yourself up this way.

Pure American style - there's a lot to like. Plus, I remember this car from the Smokey and the Bandit movies with Burt Reynold's. Who could forget? Be Burt in this classic Stingray for sale in Thailand!
There is also the furniture. All of this can be made to order as far as I understand, finishing to include headlamps as lights etc.
Bewilderingly, there's also this humble old British pipes and slippers sports car, the Triumph TR3 in the room. Fancy that!
