THE PARTY WAS LIT!

Yesterday was @bookoons birthday. I have listened to her talk about how she wants her birthday on the blockchain to be lit. You see, Bookoons has helped so many people organise their birthday on the blockchain so it's only fair she gets same love back. So, I decided to make her wish come through as I organised a surprise birthday party online for you. You might be wondering, "how is that even possible?". Everything is possible once you put your mind to it.

It was simple, I drafted an invite and sent it across to as many friends of hers as I could remember. In the invite was a note not to announce the party or even as much as whisper it to her hearing. It's amazing how everyone did as what told and by 7pm GMT+1 when I went to invite her to the party, she was stunned. She never expected it and that was the whole idea.

It was a huge party as we had a lot of people in attendance. My co-host @itoroarchibong was awesome and the planning committee comprising of @winarobert a.k.a @wolfgang-alpha, @aquacy, @eresung made it all possible.

Here was the programme of event;

1. Opening prayer: This was handled by @tolustx as he committed the party into God's hands

2. How much do you know the celebrant: series of questions were asked about the celebrant and people took turns in providing answers.

3. Make a sentence with the celebrants name: This section was so much fun. You should see the creativity brought alive by amazing individuals and of cos we got some very funny entries that made us crack our ribs.

4. Birthday Hotseat: we roasted the celebrant by asking her questions that ordinarily she won't be obliged to answer but not this time. What better time to get her to spill than on her birthday, hahaha...

5. Tongue twister: you know how this goes. Made us laugh so hard

6. Start a show like the celebrant: The celebrant is a show host on the discord server and so we asked the attendees to mimic her when she's starting a show. It was so hilarious. I almost peed on myself.

7. Sing for the celebrant: some wonderful rendition was made by some melodious voices as they sang the popular happy birthday tune.

8. Wishes and gifts: She got lots of wishes and also went home with a fat wallet.

9. Dance! Dance! Dance!

That was it. You see, spending time on the blockchain has made some of us bond and we've become even closer than family. We spend so much time on the blockchain fighting, playing gisting etc. With each time spent , we get to know each other more and more and so many lives have been touched by the blockchain and the blockchain. That's how it should be. We should always spread love and happiness wherever we go.
