掳Potatoes (boiled and mashed) - 2 cups
掳Cheddar cheese (grated) - 1 cup
掳Bread crumbs - 1 cup
掳Green chillies (finely chopped) - 2
掳Fresh coriander (finely chopped) - 2 tbsp
掳Salt - to taste
掳Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
掳All-purpose flour - 1/2 cup
掳Water - 1/2 cup
掳Vegetable oil - for frying
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, grated cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, green chillies, coriander, salt, and black pepper powder. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
Using your hands, shape the mixture into small cutlets or patties.
In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour with water to create a paste.
Dip each cutlet into the flour paste and then coat it in the bread crumbs.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, carefully add the cutlets and fry them until golden brown on both sides. This should take about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove the cutlets from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
Serve hot with ketchup or any dip of your choice. Enjoy!
