When was the last time you took a break from everything? Nope, not just from your work life but from your stress, worries, and had a good time? I know it's nearly impossible to keep aside worries and live a day on our own. Especially now, when we made 'being busy' is a common social norm.
Taking a break is not about relaxing on your couch. It's more about having a productive time. Also, it's not you have to spend time alone. You can have family time, spend time with friends and do enjoy the day.
So what it is actually?
Keeping our stress aside is the major focus of taking a break. What is bothering you most, point it out and step back from that for a while. It can be your office work pressure or even your kids. Just take a break, do something to release your stress, and join your life again.
The idea behind this is to make us more productive. But unfortunately, we take the word 'break' very wrong. If you share this with anyone they will start to think you are giving up or you are being lazy.
When you take a break and do something beneficial like walking outside, doing meditation, having 'me time', or anything else; it distracts your mind. And this process is enough to boost our energy and make us feel more energized.
So, don't feel ashamed of others and guilty to yourself if you feel like you need a break. Just do whatever you like for one day or for a few hours. Life will give you back more!
