The Busy Bees

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the Week 51 Busy Bees Report.

We are near the end of the year now and with a new year will come some new rules. There is need to focus my attention, and that of all the other Busy Bees, on the Active and participating members of this group.

The first step for that will be to put inactive accounts into the Sleeping Bee category and there will be additional rules regarding that.

At the end of this year and the first Busy Bee report of 2025, I want to put everyone that has posted less frequently than a month ago into the Sleeping Bee category. I feel that posting once a month is a fair grace period for a group that wishes to be Busy Bees, who should be posting once a week!

When a new member or a Sleeping Bee wants to join the Busy Bee roster then I need to see a post once a week for 4 weeks in a row. I think this is easy to achieve and not much to ask.

Comments/thoughts/suggestions welcome below.

Ecency Points to distribute

Some community members have been sending me Ecency Points to distribute. They are as follows:
@papilloncharity sent me 10,000 Ecency points.
@melinda010100 sent me 60,000 Ecency points.
@alonicus sent me 30,000 Ecency points.
@chaosmagic23 sent me 10,000 Ecency points!
@zakludick (me) added 5,000 Ecency points to this fund.
@tydynrain sent me 2,000 Ecency points to this fund.
Total: 137,000 Ecency points has been put into this fund! Wow!

So I have points to distribute again!

200pts to an Active Busy Bee Redfish.
100pts to an Actvie Busy Bee Minnow.

This part needs to pause while I sort out the records of the previous posts… I can’t manage this right now. Hopefully with the new Hard Drive and my Holiday leave I can fix this!

That was the message from last week... it is NOT the Hard Drive and I cannot simply fix it!

Activity means posting and commenting within a 30-day time.
Posting weekly is recommended.
Supporting one another with votes and engagement is encouraged. There is zero enforcement, we just recommend it. If you want people on Hive who will speak and interact with you - just look at the people in this list!

There are a few accounts (like the top Minnows) that have gone inactive that I do NOT take down due to inactivity. This is mainly to give the active Minnows and Redfish something to aim at. It would also be really cool to see you guys catch up to these larger accounts due to your activity vs the inactivity of these accounts.

NOTE that these rules are going to change to suit the 100 ACTIVE accounts vision. Once we have 100 Active members those inactive placeholders will fall away. Then we will really become a powerhouse.
