Pregunta 1:

Question 1:
1️⃣ Temperate parts of the world typically experience four "seasons" of the year — spring, summer, autumn, and winter. But some parts of the world have a "dry season," a "rainy season," or "seasons" where there are frequent storms, extreme cold, extreme heat, El Niño, Harmattan, and so forth. Which is the most difficult season of the year for you? Why is it difficult, and what do you do to make it bearable?
The most difficult season of the year for me is the summer period, and let me explain the reasons: I live in the province of Ciego de Ávila in Cuba, and our country has mainly a tropical climate, so we don't have a climate with the four seasons of the year clearly defined. Instead, we have a cooler and rainier period, and a hotter period that we call summer.
The months of July and August are the hottest of all, and being exposed to such a strong sun and the irritable heat really overwhelms me. Temperatures rise a lot and sometimes you don't even feel like going outside, so it makes my daily tasks difficult. Besides, I suffer from fibromyalgia, and high temperatures cause me so much stress that they throw my body out of balance and I end up with many aches all over.
Also, such intense sun can damage the skin and cause illnesses, so to counteract this I wear sunglasses, long sleeves, and hats or clothing that covers me and prevents the sun's rays from harming me.
Thank God I have a rechargeable fan that helps me cope better with the heat, because with our energy situation and all the blackouts, it's hard to stay cool. Taking several short baths during the day also helps me a lot, but since water is sometimes scarce, I have to be careful not to use up the reserves in the tanks.
There are also many mosquitoes, and I need repellent to avoid them because they are very annoying and can cause diseases like dengue, zika, and even chikungunya. The latter is something many Cubans went through, and for me it was horrible because it causes intense pain in the muscles and joints, inflammation, and those pains remain for months or more than a year as after-effects of the disease. So, because of my fibromyalgia, it was much more terrible for me, and I must avoid mosquitoes however I can.
Question 2
2️⃣ If you live in an area of the world where seasons are usually predictable and regular, do you like that stability, where weather usually follows expected patterns? Or do you like more variety, where weather is more changeable? Is there one season when you really thrive and you're the happiest?
As I said before, we don't have the four seasons, but I would like to be in another place that does have them; there are countless beautiful landscapes in each season that I would truly love to see. As for our environment, I don't like the weather changing so much — you have to be prepared because the same day can start sunny and out of nowhere it begins to rain heavily.
So I feel I thrive more in the cooler season: the pain doesn't attack me as much, I feel more relaxed, I can do my household chores better without it being so suffocating, going outside isn't torture like in summer, and shopping is less tedious with more pleasant weather.
