¿Pensarlo bien o no pensarlo tanto?

Hi there... Have a wonderful evening, everyone! It’s a pleasure to be sharing with you again as part of this initiative; you’ve been capturing my attention and making me think about and analyze certain aspects of my daily life...

Should I think it through, or not overthink it?

I think there are times in life when we need to think things through carefully, and other times when we simply have to stop overthinking and dare to make a decision.

Sometimes, when I have to make a decision, I start thinking about all the possibilities: what could go right, what could go wrong, what others will think, or whether I’ll regret it later. And without realizing it, I end up getting worn out before I’ve even done anything. Thinking is important, but overthinking can also rob us of our peace of mind.

On the other hand, acting on impulse isn’t always the best idea either. There are decisions we make in the heat of the moment, and later, when we’re calmer, we realize that maybe we would have chosen differently (this always happens to me) 🫣
I feel that the ideal approach is to find a balance: pause for a moment, listen to our feelings, analyze what’s necessary, and then make a decision. Not everything has to be perfect, nor do we have to have all the answers before moving forward.

And I think this applies to many aspects of daily life—from a small decision to something that could change the course of our lives.

Have I ever been in a situation where making a decision was harder than it should have been?
Yes, because often the fear of making a mistake makes me overthink things.

Do I tend to be impulsive—to act first and think later?
Of course I do; we all have moments like that, especially when we let our emotions make decisions for us.

In the end, maybe it’s not about thinking too much or too little, but about learning when it’s time to analyze and when it’s time to trust, decide, and move forward.

Here we continue moving forward hand in hand with God and trusting in the process ❤️
