Review. When I started reading the book, I was expecting the cliché of the vampire novel, but I was surprised to realize that it was the opposite, we started with our protagonist, Sookie Stackhouse, a waitress with the power to read minds, which overwhelms as he learns from the most tribal to the most unpleasant things, then Bill Compton appears on the scene, a vampire whose mind Sookie cannot read, and this is one of the things that attracts her to him, since a respite from know what others are thinking.

Cuando comencé a leer el libro, me esperaba el cliché de la novela de vampiros, pero me lleve una sorpresa al darme cuenta que era todo lo contrario, comenzamos con nuestra protagonista, Sookie Stackhouse una mesera con el poder de leer mentes, cosa que la agobia ya que se entera desde cosas de lo más tribales hasta lo más desagradable, después aparece en escena Bill Compton, un vampiro cuya mente Sookie no puede leer, y esto es una de las cosas que le atrae hacia él, ya que un respiro de saber que está pensando los demás.

One of the things that caught my attention is that humans know of the existence of vampires and live with it, vampires that try to reintegrate into society feed on artificial blood created by Japanese, others feed on humans who aspire to be vampires or enjoy being food.

Una de las cosas que me llamo la atención es que los humanos saben de la existencia de los vampiros y conviven con ello, los vampiros que tratan de reintegrarse a la sociedad se alimentan con sangre artificial creada por japonés, otros se alimentan de humanos que aspiran a ser vampiros o disfrutan ser el alimento.

With the death of her co-worker Sookie is involved in a river of mysteries, intrigues and lies, which she is solving little by little with Bill at her side. The relationship of the protagonists is what I liked the most, the way they both care about each other, Bill's love and adoration for Sookie is one of the things that personally hook them.

Con la muerte de su compañera de trabajo Sookie se ve envuelta en un rio de misterios, intrigas y mentiras, que va resolviendo poco a poco con Bill a su lado. La relación de los protagonistas es lo que más me ha gustado, la forma en que ambos se preocupan por el otro, el amor y adoración de Bill hacia Sookie es una de las cosas que en lo personal de enganchan.

The development of the main characters are good, as are the secondary characters, the timeline in the plot is fast, but without losing eloquence and details in the process, it is easy and entertaining to read, I recommend it for a quick and enjoyable Reading.
