As we grow up, we change both on the outside and in the way we think; without a doubt, everything is in a state of constant change. Thanks to my friend
@chacald.dcymt, who brings us new questions of the week—and in this case, I’ve chosen number 2️⃣, which goes like this: We recently wrote about our favorite colors and how they make us feel. But how has your favorite color changed over time? What prompted that change?
I think that when we’re kids, we see the world differently. And of course, as a little girl, my favorite color—which I felt went with everything—was pink. It’s not that I was dressed in pink all the time; in fact, my mom dressed me in a variety of colors. But back then, like almost every little girl, pink was my favorite, and I chose it a lot for my dolls.
As a teenager, I think I had two favorite colors—I wore them a lot. The first was black; I’ve always liked this color because it’s elegant and flatters the figure. I think black is a color you can never go without, and it looks good on everyone—it’s a classic, so to speak.
The other color I actually wore a lot was green. To me, it was a fresh color, and I really liked it in clothes. I had several blouses in that color—not dark green, but light green or apple green. I don’t know why I liked that color back then, I’d unconsciously choose it, and I remember that because once, while talking to a friend, she asked me about my favorite color, and I told her it was something else. Then she opened my eyes by telling me she always saw me wearing green, and that’s when I really did like it even though I’d been saying I didn’t.
Now that I’m older, I still have two favorite colors. The first one, which never changes, is black—nothing stands out more than that color—and second is light blue, a pastel blue. Those are the colors I like, although I might add white to my outfits. It’s not that I don’t have other colors, but these in particular are my favorites.
There’s no doubt that your tastes change as you grow up—you develop different preferences—and colors can also be a part of our lives; you might even dress according to your mood. But for me, these three are the best and most beautiful.
