Greetings, dear ladies of the community! We have another week to participate in this community’s contest. Thanks to my friend
@marivic10 for this week’s questions—both were great, but the first one really caught my attention, so I’m here to answer it and enter the contest: Do you think there’s a specific age for exercising, or can we exercise at any stage of our lives? Do you currently exercise?
I’ve always believed that physical activity is good for your health, and I think that from childhood onward, parents should encourage their children to be active or to exercise from an early age—no matter what kind of exercise or sport it is. the important thing is to do something. I’ve seen parents who start taking their children swimming as early as one year old; you might say they’re too young, but I assure you that those children not only learn quickly but also develop discipline as they grow up.
I’m certain there’s no age limit for exercising. I’ve even seen 70-year-olds who’ve never exercised before continuously improve through strength training. There’s no age limit for exercising—anyone can do it if they set it as a goal. Exercise is good for your health. I’ve seen older adults riding bicycles; they have great muscle tone and stay in shape.
I believe there’s no age limit for exercising, but as I said at the beginning, if parents encourage their children from a young age, it would be easier for others. There are people who don’t like it, and that’s because they aren’t used to it or have never developed a taste for it. There are so many ways to exercise these days—even walking counts as exercise—and many people don’t realize how wonderful it is to feel good and active, because it’s not just about physical appearance but about health.
I’ve been playing sports since I was very young. When I was a little girl, my parents enrolled me in swimming lessons, and I grew up swimming through my teenage years. Since then, I’ve done strength training, weightlifting, aerobics, dance therapy, and cycling. I went back to swimming, and right now I’m at a gym that offers a little bit of everything. I always stay active despite the occasional obstacles that come my way, but I always try to stay active. If I stop for any reason, I pick it back up, because when I exercise, I feel healthy and full of energy, and that’s what’s important for reaching adulthood on solid ground.
Throughout my life, I've seen older people who stay so young and energetic—they don't look their age and have the vitality of a 30-year-old. I'm just saying that's what I want for my life: to stay healthy and full of vitality.
