Hello, hive friends! How are you all? I hope you are well and happy.
Today I will be sharing with you these pretty flowers that I made for this coming Valentine's day on February 14th.
So all the groups that I am in on Facebook are so busy making flowers to sell on that special day and I was encouraged to do it too. It's been a while since I did not try to sell my handmade because everybody thinks they are too pricey yet it itched my hand to do so.
What's on trend for this occasion are amigurumi tulip flowers and, sun flowers and of course, roses! I guess roses are everyone's favorite and I am excited for everyone to have them.
By the way, has anybody given you slowers on a valentine's day?
I hope your partner will this year.
So I started making flowers by looking up for tutorials in YouTube and followed it .OI realized it was just easy.
I had some fiberfill in my office; I made my drawer my stash area, haha! But due to my pride, I made the leaf myself without watching tutorial videos. I was kind of success since I already made wire-stuffed stitches way back in the previous years.
Lookie! I only used my hook as a stem of my flowers because I was not really prepared to do it. Does it look good?
The next day, I took the barbecue sticks to my workplace and made them my flower's stem
I planned to make them in a small bouquet but it seems to me that the flower looks lonely so I decided to learn to make lavender flowers!
It was fun to do, and it looked easier than it looks; the lavender flower is made by making 100 chains and adding chain 3, slip stitch on the same chain it was made in creating as it nears the end, and wrapping it around the flower wire.
Flower making requires gue yet I don't have one yet. I am waiting for payday to buy, that is if I have extra money by that day so I can finalize my work and I hope they would sell.
Now my tulip is not alone anymore!
What about you guys, what's your plan this coming Valentine's day?
I'd be posting more on what I would do next. Kepp safe and be happy!
