Hello friends. How are you? I hope you all are doing well. I am also fine. So today I am back again with a new post. Today I have made a very beautiful flower with crochet. If you are my old followers then you all must know that when I first started posting in this NC I used to do crochet and things like that. But then I left it in between. A few days ago I really wanted to do some crochet. That is why I have done a lot of crochet these days. So I am going to share very nice tutorials with you all by posting them one by one. Today I have made a lily flower and two lavender sticks. It turned out very beautiful and I also received a lot of compliments because of it. That is why I thought I should share its tutorial with you all too. So now without wasting much time let's start making these flowers.
Lily flower tutorial
First of all I will tell you how to make the lily. To make a lily we need 6 petals. Now I will tell you how to make these petals. First of all you can take yarn of any color you like. I have taken yellow because I wanted to make a yellow lily. You can use any color you want. First we have to make 25 chains.
After making 25 chains we will work only in the back loops. Make 2 single stitches then 2 half double crochet then 14 double crochet then 3 half double crochet then 2 single stitches. In the last loop make 3 single stitches. This means we have to make 3 single stitches in the same stitch in the last loop. Now one side of our petal is ready. Now we will make the other side of the petal. We will turn our project to the other side. On the other side we have to make 2 single stitches then 3 half double crochet then 14 double crochet then 2 half double crochet then 2 single stitches. Now our first layer is ready.
Now we have to make another layer and in the next layer we also have to add wire so that it can easily hold its shape and stay upright. Now we will make the stitches with the wire. First in the first stitch we will make a single crochet increase. This means we will make 2 single stitches in one stitch. Then in the next stitch we will make 2 half double crochets then 2 double crochets then 11 double crochet increases. When I say increase it means making 2 stitches in every stitch. Then make 14 double crochet increases and 3 single crochet increases. After that make 3 chains and then slip stitch into the first stitch of the next round.
Now on the other side we will again make 3 single crochet increases then 4 half double crochet increases then 11 double crochet increases. After that make 2 double crochets then 4 half double crochets then a single crochet increase. Then we have to slip stitch into the first stitch. In this way our petal will be ready. After this one petal will be ready and we have to make five more petals in the same way. We need a total of six petals.
Applying blush and assembling
After making the petals this part is optional. If you want some shading then you can apply blush to the center of the petals like this. It gives a very nice look especially on yellow flowers it looks amazing. After applying the blush and adding the wire it is time to make the inner part of the flower. We will take four wires and wrap the tips of the wires with yellow yarn and the lower part with green yarn. Then for the flower stem I cut a long piece of wire and attached it properly to the inner part of the flower and also applied glue. Then first I took three petals and attached them to the stem. Then we will assemble three more petals and wrap them properly with wire and apply glue. After this we will also wrap the stem properly with green yarn and in this way our flower will be ready.
Lavender flower tutorial
Now let's make the lavender flower. To make this we first take purple yarn and then make 6 chains. After making 6 chains we have to skip 2 stitches and make 1 double crochet in the third stitch. Then in the next stitch we make 1 half double crochet. Then in the next stitch we make 1 single stitch. Then in the next stitch we make a slip stitch. Then again we make 6 chains and keep repeating this same pattern by making 6 chains each time. We have to repeat this pattern a total of 53 times. After repeating it 53 times we will have a long loop. Now first we will cut a long piece of wire and wrap it properly with green yarn. Then we will wrap our purple loop around it properly and apply glue. In this way our lavender flower will be ready.
Final result
