Hi Splinterlands Lovers
Hello friends! How are you all? I hope you are all doing well. I am also fine. Today I am back again with a Splinterlands post. I have not posted anything about Splinterlands for a long time. So today I thought I should make a post about Splinterlands because I was missing this game and its amazing characters a lot.
Today I also found a very good card to review. When I studied its abilities and everything about it I found this card quite interesting. That is why I thought I would review this card with you all and tell you about its abilities and weaknesses and more.
About the Card
First of all the name of this card is Flame for Hire. It is a five mana card. So we can use it in medium to high mana battles. I think it can also be used in low mana battles but I am not sure about that.
It belongs to the Djinn bloodline. It is a Magic attacker and it has three abilities. These are Void and Painforge and Stun. So now let us review this card.
Maximum Level Stats
First of all I will talk about its stats. At maximum level its Magic Attack is 3. Its Health is 6 and its Speed is 3. Unfortunately it does not have any Armor.
As I told you its mana cost is 5. In my opinion its Magic Attack of 3 deals quite good damage for this mana cost. Its Health is also quite good at 6. Its Speed is not that special and is just average. Since it has no Armor we need to protect it from strong melee and ranged attackers.
Overall I think getting all these stats for 5 mana is quite good.
First Ability: Void
Now let us talk about its abilities. Its first ability is Void. Because of this ability the damage it receives from enemy Magic attacks is reduced by 50%. This means that when an enemy attacks our character with Magic damage it receives reduced damage. If the enemy's Magic Attack has only 1 power then Void can reduce that damage to zero. I found this ability quite interesting. However Void does not protect it from melee and ranged attacks.
Second Ability: Painforge
Its second ability is Painforge. When Flame for Hire takes damage because of Poison or Burning or when an ally hits it its Power increases by 1. This means that its Power can increase during the battle which is really amazing.
Third Ability: Stun
Now let us talk about its third ability. Its third ability is Stun. When our character successfully hits an enemy it has a 50% chance to stun that enemy. If an enemy gets stunned it misses its next turn. This means that if our character stuns an enemy then the enemy loses its next turn. This is also a very good ability. If it stuns a strong monster then that would be even better.
Best Position
In my opinion the best position for this card is the third or fourth position. There should be a strong tank in front of it so that the tank can take the enemy's attacks. Then Flame for Hire can get a chance to attack the enemy with Magic from behind.
Placing it in the first position can be a little risky because its Health is 6 but it has no Armor. That is why I think the best option is to place it behind a tank.
Weaknesses
Now let us talk about its weaknesses. I think its biggest weakness is its low defensive protection because it has no Armor. Its Health is also not very high. Strong melee and ranged attackers can defeat it quickly. Its Speed is also not very fast. These are some of its main weaknesses.
My Personal Opinion
Now let me share my personal opinion. Personally I really liked this card. Its abilities are quite good for its mana cost and its stats are also quite good. If I had to rate this card out of 10 then I would give it 8 out of 10.
