How are you all? I hope you are all doing well. I am also doing well. So today I am back again with a new post. Today I made a very cute DIY. I saw a cute bear flower pot on Pinterest which also had flowers in it. I really liked it so I thought I should try making it too. So I made it. Then I thought I should also share its tutorial with you all. I also made a mistake in the middle but then I fixed it. It is quite easy to make but it requires patience because you have to make each flower. If you want more flowers then it will take even more time. So now let's start making it.
Materials Needed
So first we need three colors of clay. Brown color clay pink color clay and green color clay. And also yellow color clay. I forgot about it. Apart from this we also need some tools if you use tools while working with clay. We also need a pink color marker and a black color marker.
Making the Bear Pot
First we will take the brown color clay. After making it brown we will separate one big piece and then make three small pieces too. The small pieces are for the ears and mouth. We will use the remaining big piece to make the pot. Now I have given the pot its shape and after this I will make the ears. We will give the ears a little shape like this and attach them inside the pot. Now we will take the third small piece and put it in the middle of the flower pot in the shape of its mouth. Now the base of our flower pot is completely ready.
Making the bear Face
Now it is time to make the bear's face. For the face I used a black color marker. I made its eyes and nose with it. Then I took a pink color marker and made a little blush with it. Now our flower pot is completely ready. Let's make the flowers.
Making the Flowers
To make the flowers I took green color clay and gave it the shape of a stem. Then I added the yellow part of the flower. After that I made small balls of pink color clay and shaped them like flowers. In the same way I made six flowers. But when I was putting all the flowers in the pot they were not able to stand like this. They were falling because the clay is soft. So I started thinking about what I should do now. Then I got an idea.
I took matchsticks and removed their red parts. Then I covered the sticks with green color clay and attached the flowers on top of them. This way my flowers were able to stand properly. Now I attached all the flowers in the same way and our flower pot was ready.
Final Result
So guys this is the final result of my bear flower pot. I hope you all liked it. Actually it did not turn out exactly the same as the one on Pinterest. I don't know why. I think I should have added more flowers. But that's okay. Next time if I make it again I will add more flowers. I really found it very cute. If we keep it on our shelf it will look very cute.
