Hello Hive friends! how are you all? Are you back to the old busy life after the holidays and the New year?

did you still continue to party on New Year's Day?

Because as soon as I woke up that day, I forgot that it was a new year. I had so many chores to do and so many things that I wanted to do.

Early in the morning at 6 am, I checked on my phone for the availability of the slots for online application on the Civil Service Exam and I am so blessed that there were slots available and that I successfully got one.

A morning Cuddle

A little later, my daughter woke up and we had cuddles, she was still sleepy but she does not want to go back to bed because I am not there. We stayed cuddling for over half an hour resulting in me forgetting that I turned on the faucet.

She was startled by my reaction when I remembered the water being on for over half of an hour, so she went to my mother's house while I prepared the laundry.

Someone dies everyday

Then I checked on the fish and d*mn, another one dead.

The fish were sick because of the cold weather, especially at dawn, we still did not have water heaters yet because we are still setting up and I am afraid of spending too much on the fish yet.

Water heaters requires me to buy them and the electric consumption is still unknown.

Over the few months eh fish had arrived, my husband spent a lot in it already. Some of the fish failed to live, so I can't say it's worth spending on. Nothing has returned fron what is spent yet.

Undone Laundry

When I added the soap to the spinning water in the washing machine, I realized that my husband didn't buy soap from the last payday. What's available was for three batches only.

But even though I still did not finish the laundry soap yet, I had to stop doing it because it rained in the afternoon and the pails we had are already full.

Our spin dryer motor was busted a few months ago and I am not still able to buy a new one for replacement. it would have been better if we still had a spin dryer because I can hang the indoors.

Visited by an Old Friend

Bored in the afternoon, I took out my yarn stash so I could destash or something.

Then my sister yelled "Yoi, you have a visitor"

I and my husband wondered who could it be and then our old friend from high school appeared.

Boy, I miss this lady! I and my husband had been talking about her because if not for her, there would be probably no "US". She had been helping my husband become close to me way back in high school.

We have shared our ups and downs in life yet we had to live away from each other. Though far and we rarely communicate, we are still tied by heart.

That night, onboarded her in Hive and I assisted her on her very first post.

Here is the link to her introduction post.

Man, time flew by so fast, she arrived at 6 in the evening and we had some talks and we had dinner then the clock suddenly pointed at nine!

It's too sad that she had to go already but since she is onboard already, we will have more connections now and I hope she will not lose interest in hive even though she's still in a stage where everything is still confusing.

My dear friend, norie2023@norie2023, let's build a hive together so we will have a better future for ourselves and our families.
