Hola amigos! Espero esten muy bien! El dia de hoy vengo a mostrarles esta ilustración que a pesar de comenzar como una simple practica de figura humana termino convirtiéndose en este personaje, les mostrare un poco del proceso de creación, espero que sea de su agrado.
Hello friends! I hope you are very well! Today I come to show you this illustration that despite starting as a simple practice of human figure ended up becoming this character, I will show you a little of the creation process, I hope you like it.
Lo primero fue ubicar la imagen de referencia para ello hice una búsqueda rápida en Google para hallar a un modelo, hecho esto comencé a dibujarlo, una vez estuvo hecho comencé a bocetar detalles de una armadura al estilo vikingo en combinación con otros elementos lo que resulto en este primer boceto.
The first thing was to locate the reference image for it I did a quick Google search to find a model, done this I began to draw it, once it was done I began to sketch details of a Viking style armor in combination with other elements which resulted in this first sketch.
Una vez que decidí que invertiría algo más de esfuerzo en este dibujo comencé realizando los detalles de su rostro, obviamente estos cambiaron bastante con referencia al modelo, ya que debía reforzar los rasgos de su rostro, además que agregue una larga barba.
Once I decided that I would invest some more effort in this drawing I began to make the details of his face, obviously these changed a lot with reference to the model, since I had to reinforce the features of his face, and I also added a long beard.
Del mismo modo proseguí con el resto del personaje dibujando los detalles de la piel en su hombro y los demás elementos de cuero de sus vestidos
In the same way I continued with the rest of the character by drawing the details of the leather on her shoulder and the other leather elements of his armor
Seguidamente he dibujado los protectores de sus antebrazos y el resto de su atuendo y con esto he terminado el dibujo de mi personaje, la verdad me sentí muy complacida con este resultado.
Next I drew the forearm protectors and the rest of her attire and with this I finished the drawing of my character, I was very pleased with the result.
Lo siguiente fue el coloreado, en esta parte del proceso aun me genera algo de dudas, pero intenté probar combinaciones de colores y ser paciente, hasta que obtuve la siguiente base de color que me agrado bastante.
Next was the coloring, in this part of the process I still have some doubts, but I tried to test color combinations and be patient, until I got the following color base that I liked quite a lot.
El siguiente paso fue añadir algunas luces y sombras a mi personaje, para ello he empleado una nueva capa la cual he subordinado a la capa de color para evitar hacer algún cambio que luego no pudiese deshacer.
The next step was to add some lights and shadows to my character, for this I used a new layer which I subordinated to the color layer to avoid making any changes that I could not undo later.
Una vez añadí textura a todos los materiales del traje y complete el coloreado de mi personaje comencé dibujando tras él un paisaje que se adaptase, lo mejor que se me ocurrió fue dibujar un paisaje con las montañas a lo lejos seguido de un pequeño lago y pinos alrededor.
Once I added texture to all the materials of the suit and completed the coloring of my character I started drawing behind him a landscape that would fit, the best I could think of was to draw a landscape with the mountains in the distance followed by a small lake and pine trees around.
La verdad soy una persona poco paciente y a veces olvido muchos detalles en mi prisa, esta vez he cultivado un poco de paciencia para hacer esta ilustración y llevarla a cabo con todos los detalles que tenía en mente, espero que haya sido de su agrado, como siempre si tienen algún comentario o sugerencia estaré feliz de leerlos y gracias por leer!
