Hello everyone! I'm actually not well since yesterday. I thought of skipping posting today but I didn't want to miss my streak. I am trying to keep it up for this year's Inktober challenge. Today is Inktober Day 5 and the prompt is 'Smack'. I thought a lot about it and the only thing that came to my mind is how I smack the mosquitoes when they enter my room at night sometimes.
Dengue comes and goes in Malaysia and sometimes the cases rise up. So I'm order to be safe, I would usually get rid of any mosquitoes that enter my home especially my room. It is inconvenient to deal with their constant hissing and bites. Moreover, it's also stressful to think of possible health issues in case they happen to be the aedes kind. I have seen my father and brother suffer from if and I'd rather not deal if that.
So that's what I drew today. This is a mosquito swatter that everyone should have just in case. I have a pink one. However, I don't even use it because I found something better which is actually a thick hand fan I got when I attended a school event. It was about limitting antibiotic intake as that can cause negative effects on our health.
I drew a mosquito in a funny way like a cartoon with a sharp stinger. It is just flying away to escape from being smacked.
I didn't know what else to do so I added an anti mesquite sign with a little bubble appearing at the mosquito swatter.
Then I also added another mosquito so this guy doesn't seem so lonely. It also gave me a chance to fill up the empty spaces more. This is pretty much my drawing.
That's all I can do today and I am at the verge of passing out. Thank you for dropping by and I wish you a great day ahead.
