In this segment, we dive into a Thai-origin south east asian favourite, boat noodles.
Boat Noodles are essentially really small servings of noodles. When I say small I mean like 1-2 servings/bites of a bowl of noodles. Restaurants and vendors often offer an array of flavour selections and the small portions allow for endless opportunities to try them all in one sitting!
Its easy to get carried away when eating these tiny delights. I don't, therefore, recommend them as an actual meal but maybe for teatime or when you're feeling a little peckish??? Adventurous too even! It is, however, a must try and not to be missed!
Attractiveness: Well they are pretty cute in their tiny bowls but I mean, they look like noodles lol.
Taste: DELICIOUSSSSSS. They come in a variety of soups and flavours with options that are spicier than others. They come in a selection of Chicken, Beef and Pork but fall short for vegetarians like many other asian cuisines.
Price: Penny wise they only cost RM1.90 a bowl. However, that can accumulate to a lot, especially if you're a big eater (like me). For example, I had 7 bowls so thats RM13.30 before service tax? A pretty penny for a bowl of noodles if you ask me.
Verdict: Its good for when you feel like a nibble, but definitely not a meal.
