People don't change because they want to. They change because life leaves them no choice....yeah.💔

At 18, I thought change meant becoming someone else completely. I thought being liked by everyone, having quick answers, and always looking happy would always matter.

Then you get older. You go through things that don't have a name. A friendship ends without a fight. A plan fails even when you did everything right. You find yourself overthinking a simple conversation at 2am and you realize you're tired of pretending everything is fine while deep down your heart you know it's not.

That's when your priorities shift....

Things that felt urgent before - proving yourself, replying fast, chasing noise - become less important. And things you ignored - peace, stability, quiet growth, being selective about who gets close to you - become everything.

Growing older teaches you to understand yourself better. You become more patient, not because you are weak, but because you learn not everything needs your reaction. You become more careful about your energy.

I like to think about it like the Spiritual beings...... Somewhere, there is another version of me who didn't go through what I went through...... She still cares about the same old things.... She didn't change....💯

But this version - the one who got hurt, learned, rested, and tried again - she changed because she had to learn what truly matters.

Change doesn't always mean you became a different person. Sometimes it just means you finally met yourself.

Do people become better as they grow older? I think they become more honest. And honesty is a better kind of better.
