We (my brother, my former housemate) celebrated it in Szolnok, Hungary. The weather was/is good (sunny, 29 °C), so we were outside. We made a picnic on a playground. There are benches and desks on it, so it was convenient.
We (my brother and me) went into the Auchan hipermarket to buy the cake and the candles. Usually we buy a chocolate cake for my birthday, but currently there was no chocolate cake. We bought a chocolate biscuit cake instead.
Before buying the cake, we ate a Shawarma.
We bought mineral waters and soft drinks.
I bought Cappuccino too, and my brother bought a coffee too. We drank them on the go.
My former housemate gifted us rakott krumpli (Hungarian scalloped potatoes). She cooked it yesterday (on 2023.09.16). It was a delicious lunch. We ate it before the cake. She gifted a Snickers chocolate bar for me for my 31st birthday.
I also ordered a falconry related book as a birthday gift for myself. I already paid for it. The bookstore will ship it to the house in Tiszasüly. Probably in the next few days.
This was a good birthday celebration, and a good day too.
