Keep in touch is the recommendation I give my patients after surgery or when they are fitted for braces. It is the recommendation I give to my patients. Some patients do not all comply with this suggestion I give them. I like to follow up with my patients for the evolution and recovery of their health.

Algunos pacientes no todos cumplen con esta sugerencia que les doy. Me gusta hacerle un seguimiento a mis pacientes para la evolución y recuperación de su salud.
I learned this when I was in medical school, a doctor who taught me always advised us on the importance of keeping in touch with patients once they have undergone surgery. And so I remember this advice. I have really put it into practice and the communication has been effective, the patient keeps in touch and the doctor monitors the entire recovery process, the doctor-patient relationship after surgery is very important, the patient will feel calmer and any strange symptom that appears will be immediately notified and a solution to the problem will be sought.
Esto lo aprendí cuando estudiaba medicina un doctor que me daba clases siempre nos aconsejaba la importancia de mantenerse en contacto con los pacientes una vez que estos son operados. Y así recuerdo este consejo. De verdad que lo he puesto en práctica y la comunicación ha sido efectiva el paciente se mantiene en contacto y el médico va monitoreando todo el proceso de recuperación.La relación medico-paciente despues de operado es súper importante el paciente se sentirá más tranquilo y cualquier síntoma extraño que aparezca enseguida notifica y se le busca la solución al problema.
I remember I operated on the hip of a patient who had an injury, this patient had been affected from a first operation for not having complied with the doctor's recommendations never wanted to keep in contact with him. Where the hip suffered because of him not complying and staying in contact with the doctor. Once he had the operation he did whatever he wanted. And then over the months came the consequences. Recuerdo que operé de la cadera a un paciente que tenía una lesión, este paciente había quedado afectado de una primera operación por no haber cumplido las recomendaciones del médico nunca quiso mantenerse en contacto con él. Donde la cadera sufrió por él no cumplir y estar en contacto con el médico. Una vez que se operó hizo lo que le dio la gana. Y después con los meses vinieron las consecuencias. Él reconoció que de verdad no había cumplido las recomendaciones por el médico no lo visito más y perdió el contacto. En esta oportunidad le hice saber la importancia de mantenerse en contacto con el médico después de operado. Lo intervine quirúrgicamente y la operación fue un éxito en esta oportunidad mantuvo el contacto conmigo y cumplió al pie del a letra las recomendaciones. Gracias a Dios su recuperación fue satisfactoria.
