Tom replied, "On the contrary, thank you for your warm welcome."
Everyone sat down at the table as girl began pouring fresh berry drinks into everyone's glasses.
She swayed gracefully in a gray dress adorned with purple lotus blossoms.
Tom said, "Jasmine told me she's your younger sister, Ms. Lona, but you two look so different."
Lona replied, "you are perceptive and clever man, her half-sister. What would you like me to pour for you, neighbor?"
Tom said, "I'd like some rice, it looks great, but...?".
"But what?".
"Where's the meat or chicken? Honestly, I prefer them to other dishes."
While Jasmine brought a piece of pasta with béchamel sauce to her mouth, her hand trembled and the pasta grain slipped onto the white tablecloth.
Tom asked, "Did I say something offensive?"
Jozef answered, "No, absolutely not, but we're all vegetarian".
Lona held her hands in front of her and waited until she had finished the last piece of cucumber in her mouth, then said,

Jasmine handed him a glass of water, from which he took two sips.
Then he said, "I'm sorry, but I think you heard someone shouting."
Jozef replied, "You're right. It seems he woke up from the sleep he had fallen into after the sleeping pill."
Tom asked in a halting voice, "Who...who?"
Lona answered, "The secret we're hiding from everyone."
Tom pulled out his gun, causing Jasmine to scream while Lona to freeze in place.
Jozef looked at Tom steadily and shouted at him, "What's wrong with you? Have you gone mad?"
Tom replied, "Do you want me to wait until I become your dinner? It's all clear now, and your pretense of being vegetarians is just a charade."
Suddenly, Tom was struck on the back of the head by something hard, causing him to fall unconscious.
