Osteoporosis a health condition in which ones bones become brittle or weak due to the loss of tissue. It occurs due to an imbalance between the new bone formation and the resorption of the old bone.
Possible causes of osteoporosis:
Osteoporosis can occur due to calcium deficiency or the lack of vitamin D. Smoking, intake of alcohol, and server usage of medication can increase the risk of osteoporosis.

Often, symptoms aren't noticed until one has a bone fracture. Common symptoms would just be bone fracture or the loss of height.
