Being surrounded by nature at 3,152 meters above sea level, in a city that’s already quite elevated, creates a unique blend of calm and serenity. Beyond the stunning views, this iconic destination is much more than just a lookout point; it’s a fusion of history, nature, and culinary culture that you can’t miss if you visit Colombia’s capital.

@crypticatAt the top of the Canadian Rockies on the border of British Columbia and Alberta is my happy place. We try to come here as often as possible to enjoy the stunning nature and incredible hiking. Looking at the pictures is almost enough as they just bring back so many fond memories of camping by Lake O'Hara.
The lake itself changes colours depending on the sun and which angle you are viewing it from. Water cascades from the surrounding glacial peaks into the lake and the only nice months here are July and August, the rest of the year it is a winter wonderland. You can cross country ski and snowshoe in the remote Canadian wilderness. We are not the winter camping type as it could be negative forty.

@avdesingLooking at the horizon where the sea gets lost and blends with the wonderful sky and in the middle of it a boat sails through the intensity, those views are priceless.
As most of you know, I love nature, art and history and within the latter, castles are my fascination and the entrance to the highest castle in the city, the Gibralfaro Castle, is a long way up a path, a path that goes uphill and uphill.
On a previous occasion I brought you the path up to the first viewpoint, the viewpoint of La Coracha. Although you can have beautiful views of the city as well as of the Mediterranean Sea and the nature along the whole path, this is the place where you can stop and spend some time there on a terrain that is not sloping and enjoy it in a different way.
