🥇 Wednesday Walk : Silves (Portugal) by heroldius@heroldius

I’m going to show you the lovely town of Silves in Portugal's Algarve region. It isn't located right by the ocean, but rather a bit inland. However, it's packed with treasures to discover such as its red castle perched on a hill overlooking the entire town and much more, as you’ll see in this post. It wasn't the Castelo de Silves also known as the Al Hamra (the Red) castle that brought me to the town of Silves. I was drawn there by a different event taking place from July 14 to 18 (see the end of the post suspense 😀 ), but it was the perfect opportunity to explore the town and its castle.

🥈 A Colorful Surprise - A Dahlia Garden Worth Stopping For 🌸 by ceszianne@ceszianne

I would love to share with you all this beautiful and colorful place I discovered near our home in Lindau. While we were walking with the family toward the mountains, we unexpectedly came across a beautiful Dahlia flower garden. There were so many vibrant colors and gorgeous flowers, it was such a lovely surprise to see along our walk!
It was one of those simple moments that made our family walk even more special.

🥉 Recorrido por la Playa Katty en San Luis, Sucre [Esp-Eng] by virgilio07@virgilio07

Continuing my tour of San Luis Beach, I stop at the area known as Katty Beach. Like others in the region, this beach features a swing—a trend that has become popular at beaches and rivers alike, serving as a prime spot for visitors to take photos against the beautiful backdrop of the sea. The sand here is soft, relaxing, and a lovely light beige. The swing sits just a few meters from the shoreline, near a sea grape bush; as I’ve mentioned in previous posts, this area is home to many of these plants, whose branches curve over time to form natural resting spots for visitors to this paradise.
