Hello everyone! This is @ybanezkim26 and I'll present today's edition of Travel Digest. In our featured posts, we have a cathedral in Vienna, Austria, a zoo in Targu Mures, Romania, and a village in Mertola, Portugal. Enjoy and keep on pinning your travel posts to the map!
However, on the last day before returning home, we decided to take everything in a slower pace and make our way to Stephansplatz for a simple walk around the town, in search of souvenirs, but also to see one of the Christmas Markets that was resting right next to the cathedral.
Even though we saw that some of the sights in the city center, such as the Palace of Culture, have already been renovated, today we're not visiting the city, but we're going somewhere 4 kilometers away to explore the animal world at the T芒rgu Mure葯 Zoo.
After visiting the castle, we went to see the Islamic house of M茅rtola which is on the same hill but on a lower level. This village with charming features and a lot of history, has a cultural heritage that has left profound marks on its architectural and urban heritage.
