Hello everyone! This is @ybanezkim26 and I'll be presenting today's edition of Travel Digest. In our featured posts, we have a museum in Chicago, USA, a city in Portugal, and the coasts of South Africa. Enjoy and keep on pinning your travel posts to the map!
Chicago is a city full of museums and it was impossible to want to see many during our one-week visit to the city last April, but I was certain about which one I wanted to visit if I only had to choose one, The Art Institute of Chicago. One of the most important art museums in the United States among other things for its extensive collection of Impressionist art.

Hello friends, today I wanted to talk about our trip to Coimbra. The city is located on the banks of the Mondego River. The bridge here is quite modern and has an interesting structure. It is a pedestrian bridge called the Pedro and Inês bridge. This name refers to a tragic love story in Portuguese history: Prince Pedro and his lover Inês de Castro. The mentioned lovers are buried in the Alcobaça monastery. This monastery is the first royal cemetery in Portugal and their love stories take place here. And during our short stay we had the opportunity to see many places.

This small resort's beautiful garden is filled with natural boulders, and has a kiddies' playground and splash pool, as well as a pool for the older 'kids'. All that separates one from the sea is coastal vegetation and gigantic rocks.
