BLANG KULAM WATERFALL // A peaceful moment surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of nature.

After climbing more than 600 extreme steps, we could finally hear the sound of the flowing river and the captivating roar of the waterfall, and a beautiful view also welcomed us there. Along the way, I managed to meet several visitors, but there were not too many of them. However, I was immediately surprised to see so many visitors already gathered around the waterfall area.
It turned out that there were also several small food stalls there selling various kinds of snacks at affordable prices. The scenery was beautiful, but unfortunately, the river water was a little murky, especially at the bottom of the waterfall.
What makes it interesting is that this river is also filled with large rocks. At first glance, this place looks like Batee Iliek River, a popular river destination located in Samalanga District, Bireuen Regency. For visitors, these rocks can also be used as comfortable places to sit while getting even closer to nature.
Here, we can not only enjoy the beautiful natural scenery, as visitors are also allowed to swim in the river, but safety should always come first. The beautiful scenery was right in front of my eyes, and all the tiredness I had felt was completely worth it.
A waterfall is one of the most incredible beauties of nature. We can enjoy the scenery through the flow of water falling from a great height. Its sound may be quite loud, but somehow, it makes us addicted to listening to it again and again. From what I have felt, a waterfall can refresh the mind, serve as a natural remedy for tiredness and stress, and become a place to enjoy peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Blang Kulam Waterfall is also located in the middle of a forest surrounded by large trees, so this waterfall is not merely a tourist destination for humans, but also plays an important role in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem, providing a source of water for the surrounding environment, and becoming a habitat for various kinds of plants and animals.
The river is also very large and has two waterfall streams that merge into one natural pool. The river is quite deep, so swimming there can be very risky for those who cannot swim. But don't worry, there are also many shallow areas along the river that are suitable for those who cannot swim and for children.
The first thing I did at that moment was climb up to a higher cliff so that I could see this beautiful scenery from a much wider and clearer view.
In my opinion, a tourist destination like this is perfect to visit with family or friends, because there are so many fun activities we can do here, such as grilling fish or chicken, swimming, and fishing. At this waterfall, we can also try the canyoneering activity, which is very popular at Blang Kulam Waterfall.
While enjoying the beauty of this scenery, I was also given a bonus from nature in the form of a beautiful rainbow glow that naturally appeared above the water.
