I consider that the beauties of life can be of different kinds, it can be nature, sculptures, paintings, well-decorated and beautiful streets, as well as a sunny morning full of life.
All that was in my walk.
I simply let my feet take me wherever they wanted to go. It was morning and noon, the sun was high and shining brightly. With my headphones on, listening to music I let myself be carried around the city centre, which by the way is very varied in sights and what can be found.
The streets were still decorated from last Sunday's festivities, but yesterday they were still there and in the sunshine they looked majestic.
In the shops there is always something nice to look at, in this case glasses, pendants and earrings, but what I look at most are the earrings, I love them.
There were a lot of people in the streets, a lot of tourists, it is the middle of the season and this is one of the most visited places.
This church is imposing, whenever I pass by it, it reminds me that I have to visit it because its interior must be beautiful, as the façade strikes me.
Nearby is this beautiful mural, so well done, with so much detail and colour that it seems to join the sky. Maybe that woman is sitting right on a rock suspended in the sky. It is a beauty.
Maybe it was a sign or maybe it wasn't but just below the mural is this shop of Argentinean flavours, with the shop windows nicely arranged and set up for the public. There are many Argentinean shops here, especially those selling empanadas. I love Argentine empanadas.
This other shop is beautiful, they have very original bags, lamps out of the ordinary, original and beautiful, but they also have owls and the most amazing thing is that they have the lamps where the genies live. Well I don't know if they live there, but it would be great if they did.
When I arrived to the most important street of the city I found something that I had not seen before, this street is always a big surprise.
A giant bear to hug the children. I stood there for a while looking at it. People put in a coin and the boy or girl could hug the cuddly bear.
I kept thinking about the importance of hugging and showing affection. That bear was sending a message especially to parents. A child should always feel the love, the demonstrations of pure and genuine love.
I think that was the most emotional part of my walk.
The street was full of people, as usual, no matter what temperature it is.
I like to see figures in different places, maybe they give me signs and I love this sculpture with many faces. And I think it was telling me to go that way, I followed the suggestion.
I came across these beautiful fans, there are many shops here that don't even have pictures on them. People buy them and then paint them with whatever motif they like.
This path led me to a kind of small square and there I could see another sculpture, a dove hand. Again I was presented with symbols of peace and harmony. And it was very well done.
Right in front of that beautiful human dove, there was this beautiful construction, with an architecture that stood out from the rest. Again I said to myself that this was another sign for me to go that way.
There were several restaurants in the place and in one corner there was this place with pink colours that I really loved. Pink is my favourite colour.
I like this street very much because it is old, the shape of the ground with cobblestones and a beautiful design. It is also full of shops with various items.
At the end of this narrow street you see this four star hotel, it is huge and a very popular place for tourists because it is in the centre of the city and also chosen by people when the film festival takes place.
Opposite is another hotel, lesser but no less impressive.
At this stage of the walk I needed nature so I headed to part of the city park and was able to say hello to this giant cactus, it reminded me of another one I saw in a publication recently.
The views amongst the greenery are wonderful.
On the paths of the park there are always announcements of the various events taking place in the city like this one referring to the cinema.
And of course you can't miss the tourist bus, for those who have accompanied me on this walk, because from the top you get other views.
Finally I sat down for a while, it was hot and I needed to drink some water, in the meantime I took these last impressions that my eyes had of this beautiful walk.
Thank you all very much for joining me on this Wednesday walk. A big hello to all of you and see you next time.
Amonet.
