I took this picture of my brother while on vacation in Germany.
The exact location is the Meerfelder Maar in the Eifel.
The body of water in this picture is a maar which means that it is a volcanic crater filled with water.
It is a beautiful, very calm place. Perfect for an early morning walk.
This shot was not posed or even planned.
At the time of the picture, my brother was checking out the shack in the background while I was taking pictures of the landscape nearby. As my brother started to walk back from the shack, I quickly got into position and shot a few frames.

My brother and I were pretty enthusiastic about the picture straight away. But I knew it needed a lot of editing. The biggest edits were a sky replacement, color and light adjustments and changing the graffiti to 'tiger' (my brother loves tigers, so much so that it became his nickname). At the time of this edit, I did not really have a lot of experience using photoshop yet. Looking back at it, the editing could be improved. But I like this version because it represents a milestone for me, being one of my first 'really big edits'.
