Hello, portrait lovers!

Children have always seemed magical to me. Their purity, their age-specific innocence, the light they share with those around them, the keenness in their gazes, and their smiles—none of this goes unnoticed whenever I have the chance to play at rediscovering life with one of them.

Just a few days ago, I had the privilege of spending time with a special little girl—the niece of a friend of mine—who was visiting my son @eborosa's home.

Her name is Karina; she is barely six years old, yet she possesses an intelligence that would easily surpass that of ten-year-olds.

In between snatches of conversation—and yes, she is a girl with an exquisite command of language, with whom it is a sheer pleasure to talk—I didn't want to miss the opportunity to photograph her.

When I showed him the photos, he gave me the best gift of all: a smile brimming with satisfaction at the result of each shot, declaring that he loved how they turned out—specifically in black and white.

So, filled with the joy of the moment, I’ll say goodbye for now—but not without offering each of you a hug of light!

Los niños siempre me han parecido mágicos. La pureza, la inocencia propia de la edad, la luz que regalan a quienes les rodean, la perspicacia en sus miradas, sus sonrisas, no pasan desapercibidas cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de jugar a redescubrir la vida con alguno de ellos.

Hace apenas unos días tuve el privilegio de compartir con una niña especial, sobrina de un amigo mío, que estaba de visita en casa de mi hijo @eborosa

Se llama Karina, apenas tiene seis años, pero posee una inteligencia que bien bien superaría a la de niños de diez años de edad.

Entre diálogo y diálogo (si, porque es una niña con un dominio del lenguaje exquisito, con quien da pleno placer conversar), no quise perder la oportunidad de fotografiarla.

Cuando le mostré las fotos, me obsequió el mejor regalo de todos: una sonrisa pletórica de satisfacción por el resultado de cada fotograma aseverando que así, en blanco y negro, le encantó cómo quedó.

Entonces, con la alegría del instante, me voy despidiendo por ahora, no sin antes ofrecerles a cada uno de ustedes ¡un abrazo de luz!
