Faces that conquer the stage | My entry for #Monomad Challenge [ENG-ESP]
Hello, black-and-white photography enthusiasts on Hive!
A few months ago, there was an exhibition featuring puppets and theatrical set elements that had been used for years by the Compañía Guiñol de Santa Clara (Santa Clara Puppet Company), and I shared some glimpses of it with you.
Today, I’m revisiting my personal archives to share some black-and-white photographs that I had previously overlooked. I believe this is the perfect moment—through this post—to offer another well-deserved tribute to the immense talent displayed in puppet and marionette theater, created for audiences of all ages.
The exhibition is diverse. Some pieces feature a high-quality finish, while others evoke folk art. All of them possess a certain magic that transports us back to our childhood years.
Puppets that turn into living beings when we let our imagination take flight...
Still filled with the joy of what we’ve experienced, I bid you farewell—sending a warm, radiant embrace to each of you—until our next black-and-white frame. And before I go, a gentle reminder: don’t stop smiling!
This is my entry to the #monomad contest from @monochromes and
@brumest.

@brumest.
