We have been in the rainy season for some time now . The rainy season is always a farmers best season, but for those who have some other form of engagement other than farming, they don't like the season.
I woke up this morning to the best sight I could ask for. I woke up to a DOUBLE RAINBOW. I would have missed it because after morning prayers I usually go back to sleep especially on cold days like these but I didn't.
Now let's make this very clear. All my life, it's either I see a single rainbow without an end or I don't see a rainbow at all, but today, I got the full package. I saw a double rainbow with an end!!! It had an end so it was a full arch! What more could I ask for?馃槄
Growing up, I was told that there was always a jackpot at the end of the rainbow and I always wished to see the jackpot, well, well, well, clearly that was a cliche.
Rainbows have been said to signify things like peace, new beginning, promise of God, good luck, riches, equality, communication,hope and in some places it's said it be the link between life and death. Well, over here, come people believe it's the end of the rainy season and beginning of the dry and cold season. A double rainbow is double the attributes. Double good luck, double peace, double riches and so on.
I could keep ranting all day about the double full arch rainbow but I won't. One thing I know is that the rainbow just made my day and I won't be letting go of the pictures I took of it any time soon. Cheers to new beginnings.
