When I take her to the store by myself here in Dallas, people smile at us. They probably don't realize that this little girl has my nose and lips - she doesn't look like me, does she?! But she's my son's daughter, and I actually see my son in her, and myself as well! Thanks to her Korean mother, my world has opened up to all things Korean. I see my little Korean granddaughter, and it makes me feel affection for all of Korea. What a blessing!
