I had been willing to post this a few days ago but a certain circumstance which was not finding the right community for it hindered me and I'm grateful I finally found one after tirelessly searching for it.

Design and create your ideal life, don't live it by default - Tomorrow isn't promised so be humble and kind.

Galenkp.

A few days back, I was told by someone who obviously I have refused to talk to because of the irrelevant things that escape his lips every time I get to see him. I'm fluent at writing but not with my lips. I love to talk a little but act more and I expect the people around me to do the same but if we should talk about something, then it should be meaningful and not a meaningless random conversation.

This guy after giving his meaningless speech ended up not getting a response from me and the next thing he says is; "stop living your life by default. A little adjustment could be of great help so you don't chase important people out of your life".

My best friend had told him one time that from birth I haven't been one to associate much physically, he took the opportunity to disrespect me by trespassing into my private life. Yunno when he made that statement I immediately remembered the quote I saw at the bottom of galenkp@galenkp's post.

There's no way I'm living my life by default just because I've refused to associate with irrelevant humans who fail to realize that their presence isn't needed in my life. I heard that some people even go ahead to say introverts don't have an ideal life. To me these people who sit down to make statements like this are the ones who should be referred to as those with no ideal life. I don't know when sitting back to speak negatively about others became an ideal job.

I work: I don't just sit back to look at my mom expecting her to provide everything I need. I have a life and a future to Chase and everything has to be done in my youth before the rainy days come where I can no longer loft a hand.

The fact that I hate sitting to discuss irrelevant things doesn't mean I'm living my life by default. I do talk to people but I'm a girl of few words when it comes to physical interactions and I think the earlier people recognize that, the better for them.

A default life may be conceited, annoying, disrespectful, rigid and the list goes on but the fact that I submitted myself to working under someone, to wanting to learn just to know more and doing the rest of the things humans were meant to do as part of the learning process should show that I'm not living a default life. Who on Earth even lives a default life?

Everyone is subject to change in one way or the other just that many people somehow may live this rigid typpa life which may be depicted in their inhumane lifestyle which obviously could be of no use to the society or should I say people around but that's not me.

My only problem which people see is that I don't talk much and that's in no way a crime. If it's important I sit and talk in every way possible but if it's nothing that'll add value to my life or the life of the next person then I'd do the hearing (not listening) than adding or subtracting which ends up getting a lot of people upset.

I love to think rather than talk, I'm shy, awkward and maybe strange but this is me.

People have their opinions to hold on to and that's left for them. I won't go about changing anyone's perspective of thinking but I know myself better. I don't and won't live my life by default. I know tomorrow isn't promised but at least I've got today to be humble, kind and productive.

I enjoy being alone a lot but I'm very outgoing and social. My environment dictates how I behave. Sometimes I'm loud, sometimes I'm quiet. I read the energy and adjust. There are times when I want to turn up and then there are moments where I want to read a good book or process thoughts alone.
