Para la gran mayoría de los músicos empezar con la flauta dulce es uno de los primeros pasos, no para todos pero sí para la gran mayoría, pero me atrevo a decir que al menos una vez todo el mundo llegó a tocar este fabuloso instrumento musical, en mi caso particular no llegué a tocar una flauta dulce hasta que ya tenía un tiempo en la música, y dejé de ver este instrumento como algo básico.
Porque en realidad tenía ese mal concepto de la flauta dulce, pero un día empecé a ver niños tocando la flauta dulce en

Le pregunté a uno de los niños que vi más avanzados, cómo era su lectura musical, a un niño de unos 8 años, su nombre es Hendry Rodríguez. El muy humilde me contestó que tenía 1 año de solfeo, que su lectura no era muy avanzada, pero fui a los archivos de la Orquesta y busqué: Concierto en Do mayor para flauta dulce de Vivaldi, (RV 443) el movimiento largo, para mi mayor sorpresa, el niño lo tocó casi a la perfección.
Más tarde y con la ayuda de otros miembros de la orquesta tocamos el concierto con el niño, y ahí empezó mi curiosidad por la flauta dulce, pero la historia no ha hecho más que empezar.
Trabajando con ellos ese concierto empecé a ver el instrumento de otra manera y empecé a tocar la flauta dulce aprendiendo de mi madre 
I asked one of the children I saw more advanced, how was his music reading, a boy of about 8 years old, his name is Hendry Rodriguez. Later and with the help of other members of the orchestra we played the concerto with the child, and there began my curiosity for the recorder, but the story has only just begun.

Un día llega una persona a la Orquesta vendiendo algunos instrumentos de segunda mano y entre ellos tiene la flauta dulce tenor, que apenas la vi me encantó su rareza. como es diferente a una flauta dulce soprano, la compré de allí empecé a practicar con ella y con esos niños a cargo de la batuta de mi madre, llegué a pertenecer a la primera Orquesta de Flautas Dulces del Municipio Libertador que es donde vivo, no soy un experto en ella pero si me gusta mucho, está dentro de los instrumentos que me gustan.
Actualmente estoy trabajando en un proyecto con mis amigos donde voy a tocar este instrumento, y prometo que lo que haremos después de materializarlo, lo estaré compartiendo con ustedes.
One day a person comes to the Orchestra selling some second hand instruments and among them he has the tenor recorder, that as soon as I saw it I loved its rarity. As it is different from a soprano recorder, I bought it and from there I started to practice with it and with those children under the baton of my mother, I came to belong to the first Recorder Orchestra of the Libertador Municipality where I live, I am not an expert in it but I really like it, it is within the instruments that I like.

I know that some of you are not familiar with this fabulous instrument, so I will share with you some information about this instrument.
The recorder is an instrument of the woodwind family, I know that most of them are made of plastic, but in the beginning they were made of carved wood and it was really difficult to find a perfect tuning because it was handmade, it was modernized making its manufacture in plastic and easier to find a good tuning.
Its sound is produced by blowing with an adequate amount of air in the mouthpiece and the different notes are produced by plugging or uncovering the different holes that it has for the 2 hands.
The difference between the flute most of us know, the soprano recorder, and the tenor recorder is that the tenor recorder is larger and the sound is 8 notes lower.
En realidad hay varios tipos de flautas, pero las más comunes entre las flautas dulces son:
Sopranino (piccolo) es la más pequeña y aguda de la familia de las flautas dulces, su tonalidad es (Fa).
Soprano y la más común de todas la que solemos ver es esta, su tonalidad es (Do).
