Hi Friends!! How are you today? I’m doing great, and thought I’d share a portrait of myself that my friend took after another friend blinged my face with glitter and gems!
Why is my day so good, you ask? Well I’ve just had two nights out in a row!!! This is a rare occasion and I had a blast.
Friday night I went out for dinner and a movie with my bestie. We ate in the new section of Tea Tree Plaza and then saw Bohemian Rhapsody in the Hoyts cinema with RECLINER seats!!!!! Talk about living it up!!!
The movie was incredible and I highly recommend everyone seeing it while it’s still in cinemas. I actually wrote a blog post about it on my wordpress blog....maybe I’ll share snippets of it here too.
Then last night I spontaneously met friends at Port Noarlunga Hotel to watch my neighbor’s band play! I may or may not have drunk a bit too much wine and hit the dance floor hard but it was so much fun!
I have to share an hilarious moment with you. I could have sworn that a friend of mine was across the dance floor from me. No one was dancing yet and we caught each other’s eye and pointed and squealed and literally shimmied across the room in front of the band to greet each other in a huge embrace and kisses on the cheek. Then we realized that we DIDN’T know each other?!?!
Who are you?!?! Why did we just shimmie into each other’s arms?!?! We couldn’t figure out why we both thought we knew each other so agreed that we must just have a connection 😂😂 And embraced again and parted company.
An exciting start to a fun night out with good friends and good music.
Today I am preparing for a family photoshoot that I’m doing this evening, and just got home from my son’s cricket match.
