Here are the pictures of my training today. |
¡Hola, amigos!
¡Me encantaría leerlos!
Hello, friends! Warm greetings to all my buddies in the #liketu and #hive communities, and a special shoutout to the amazing members of #swc. I hope you're all having a great day. Today, I want to share with you how my day went—filled with training, friendship, and, above all, learning in the world of calisthenics.
Let me reintroduce myself for those who don’t know me: I’m Wilber-sw, a calisthenics athlete, and today I had a day dedicated exclusively to practicing static holds at the park with my friends. Unlike other days where I combine strength, endurance, and dynamic movements, today I focused on perfecting static positions like the front lever, planche, and handstand, which require a lot of concentration and body control.
This week, I’ve decided to take things a bit easier and prioritize rest. I’ve been training nonstop for a long time, and while discipline is key, it’s also crucial to listen to your body. Overtraining can lead to injuries, muscle fatigue, and decreased performance—that’s why sometimes less is more. Resting doesn’t mean losing progress; on the contrary, it allows muscles to recover, grow stronger, and prevents future setbacks.
Today at the park, I really enjoyed the session. The vibe was relaxed, full of laughter and advice among friends, but without neglecting technique. In the end, I managed to take some photos that show my progress in static holds (I’ll share them below!). Seeing how I’m gradually improving thanks to consistency and strategic rest motivates me to keep going.
That’s all for now—thank you for reading, and I’d love for you to share your own experiences. How do you balance training and recovery? Do you have any tips to avoid injuries? I’d love to hear from you!
Good night, everyone, and see you in the next post. A big hug! ♡
