Last week I made a trip to Las Vegas to support my sister, who was entering the Jay Cutler Desert Classic 2027. A fitness and physique competition. So proud of how well she did for you first time doing anything like this. As an older brother it's exciting to actually witness the maturing of a sibling. She entered with her boyfriend, his first time entering a competition too and they both nationally qualified.
She placed 2nd overall but due to a miscommunication she missed her spot to place in her class. She wasn't happy. She quickly got over it though.
Before I left to head back to Texas, I joined her and her boyfriend at a diner named Black Bear Diner. Really delicious food with large portions. Breakfast was good but i just wanted to get pictures with their trophies that they won. Pretty functional trophies if you ask me. They were dulled but could still cause some damage if they wanted to. Such a great trip. I'm so grateful that I was able to make it for her show and visit with family. So many things can happen in a year. Can't wait to attend many more competitions that she enters in to.
