As a single parent with an income below average,Tomi had learnt to work extra hard and not easily succumb to the words from humans.
It was exactly three years ago. This was the day everything went awry. On her bridal shower with her friends, she received a message and in it contained an apology letter from her husband to be who had eloped with another woman;her best friend.
Tomi was in turmoil for weeks, then the worse happened. She discovered she was pregnant.
Months went by and things got harder for Tomi. Right then, she felt the universe hated her and no good thing was going to come her way.
Now they are two. Her little bundle of joy. Whom she loves more than anything and anyone.
Men and Women had come into their lives throughout the years, but Tomi wouldn't trust any of them.
Her first love who had eloped with her best friend had said the same the first day they met.
"Trust me my friend, they make the best chicken nuggets here."
He was right about the chicken nugget but wrong about his love for her.
